TV show/episode listings for MythTV
Mythepisode gets a listing of all television shows ever aired(according to
tvrage.com) and displays them in alphabetical order on the main page. The
mainpage allows the user to display all shows ever aired, currently running
shows, or shows that have been previously recorded. Each show has a
hyperlink that will take you to a complete listing of each episode for the
particular show along with airdate, subtitle, and synopsis. This page also
lets you know if you have previously recorded the episode or have it
scheduled to record. From the episode listing you have the option to
create a TVwish list that will schedule the episodes selected for recording
when they become available in the mythtv scheduler.
All episode information is provided by TVRage. TVRage has a nice API that
allows for the grabbing of TV show/episode information.
